Topple!

Early this morning, I noticed a Maruti Esteem lying on its doors just around a kilometer from my place.

Recently, there is an outrageous effort at Hyd to broaden roads. The first step has been taken, sidewalks have been removed(dug out). Probably the second stage would come around next winter. They had the whole summer to lay the roads. Daytime during summer would be cruel. Atleast they had the nights. Very few dare to go out on the roads at nights instead of feeling secure at home with air conditioners on, during summer.
Now only the decisionmakers know why they chose to dig out roads just when the rains were about to start. And moreso, to leave them dug with no streetlights on. With the already pathetic road sense and traffic regulations, the damage toll is bound to raise alarmingly! God save the souls.
