I just cant understand this! There are regular non-telugu, non-english, non-hindi movies running in Hyderabad, atleast at Prasadz which also has the IMAX screen, but no regular Tamil films! And those that do come once in a purple-moon (yeah, thats how rare they are), come because some charity organization took pains to bring a tamil movie to a movie screen here, and people would pay good amounts to see it.
Why this discrimination??
Maybe because of this. Telugu movies with 'new' stories are copied in Tamil by Vijay (actor), and the rest are copied ones from Tamil movies! So, probably they did not want redundancy! :P

Hyderabad is in AP..where Telugu is spoken in majority, and Tamil is minority. That explains why Tamil movies won't run in Hyd.
But if you see Chennai, where almost 40% of the population is basically Telugu, and half the population can understand the language, there are very few Telugu movies being screened.
In Bangalore, where Telugu population is just around 18-20%, many theatres screen Telugu movies, including latest releases.
That is something to ponder about.

VENNELA, JAI CHIRANJEEVA,RANAM, GOWTHAM SSC, SHOCK,ALLARI PIDUGU,STYLE,SREE RAMADASU,ATHADU,SUPER, CHATRAPATI...............which one?name atleast one which is a ''tamil copy''.

i didnt say all telugu pics r rip-offs. if u notice i said original telugu movies r copied in tamil too. so maybe all those u've mentioned will come in tamil soon :D
in anycase, apart from chiru movies and a few other, the big hits here are Aparachithudu, Ghazni, Premisthe. They are not even rip-offs, they r directly dubbed versions! Someone has been too lazy!!! And the big hit Gharshana is a remake of Kaaka Kaaka in tamil, 'Donga /something/' was a remake of Thiruda Thirudi and so on and so forth ;)
So its double sided and i am not defending tamil ind :)i am jus saying both the industies r helping each other :D
And yeah, even one of Chiru's recent BIG hits, 'Tagore' is a remake of a tamil film 'Ramana' :) so u see, i can show stats too :D
