A Few Good Movies...

...never fail to amaze you, even the nth time you watch it.

One such movie for me, is "A Few Good Men". I am an ardent fan of Jack Nicholson, and I am frankly scared by him in this particular movie.

I watched this movie on TV, yesterday, for the 6th time I think, and at the end of the movie, I felt a cold shiver running through me. The climax of this movie, is something that still makes me stick to my seat, sweat profusely and strain every muscle in me to put myself into the movie. Probably one of the most powerful courtroom scenes that I have seen in movies of any language/country.

I liked Tom Cruise, a very refreshing role. All the other actors do the job wonderfully, and its a matter of casting experise! But Jack gets my bows anyday. The simple stare from him in this movie, is enough to show what the character is meant to be.

If everything else had let the movie down, I sincerely think, the dialogues alone could have made this movie a must-watch! Astounding and powerful! You have to watch the movie to understand what I am trying to tell you.

The first time I watched the movie, I didnt get all the dialogues since they were too fast and loud for me at that time. But having warmed up to different accents over the years, I could fully appreciate the strength in words, over the last few times I saw this movie.

It is Definitely a Must-Watch! So go and get your copy. Until then, savour these teasers:

Jack's:

I run my unit how I run my unit. You want to investigate me, roll the dice and
take your chances. I eat breakfast three hundred yards away from four thousand Cubans who are trained to kill me. So don't think for one second that you can come down here, flash a badge, and make me nervous.

There is nothing on this earth sexier, believe me, gentlemen, than a woman you have to salute in the morning. Promote 'em all, I say, because this is true - if you haven't gotten a b#$%^&b from a superior officer, well, you're just letting the best in life pass you by. 'Course, my problem is, I'm a colonel, so I guess I'll just have to keep taking cold showers until one of you gals is elected president.

Happy Watching.
