The Perfect Holiday

This is the first time in my life that I am "Holidaying" in the fullest sense of the term. No business, just plain relaxation.

Seoul was chosen for me rather than me choosing my holiday spot, coz wife was already here. And the timing also just set itself up. And what timing it is, to be here during the Festivals and New Year.

I dont have to explain in detail about how the city looks, you could just google for it and see snaps by professionals. But to savour it, you have to be here.

The whole city is lit, and is preparing for a blast. Everyday it is getting busier and funkier. And roaming around the city wouldnt get better. Nightlife is superb, the city doesnt seem to sleep.

And I'm getting to just do this savouring, 24 hours a day if I chose to. And tomorrow is the day, when the blast will reach a peak before the next peak during the New Year eve. I may or maynot be in this country to see the ball drop, but nevertheless, I will definitely see Xmas.

Its been an absolute pleasure, and these few days here have been among the best of the year so far, next only to my marriage. It has also sort of come up as a third honeymoon for us, and I just could not have asked for more.

S(e)oul holiday. The perfect gift I could have got towards the end of an enervating year, a year full of highs and lows but never a dull moment. A year in which I had to fight through the various surprises it had to throw at me. But also one of the most important years of my life.

I had the first trip abroad this year, and since then it has been raining trips. The year of my marriage and also the year in which we were apart for the most time.

Well, few more days to go in this dream holiday. And the perfect end to 2007 and the perfect beginning to 2008. Have a blast all of you! So long!
