The Night is still young.

12:30 AM, 27 April 2005. Me at office. Yet another late night showdown (at work you perverts). But this time, I am feeling good working late into the night. "Infact so late now, that its early" (that was a one liner I loved, in the Da Vinci Code). The efforts of tonight, go into my team's work. Not too long ago, all my late night showdowns were to aid another team. They were seemingly lagging bigtime with their modules and me and my teammate were outsourced to their team for a while.

Nothing specific to write about tonight. In anycase, no mood to start work right away. So thought of just pouring out some words on my blog.

Its been raining heavily in the recent days. At 4.30 am yesterday, my room was as bright as midday, thanks to the blazing lightening tearing the skies apart. Something that isnt all that welcome when you need some deep sleep in a dark and cool room. But the rain that accompanied more than made up for the minor irritation due to the bright unsolicited lighting.

It is pleasant outside today too. And inside office, my system is playing loud music, I have Real Fruit juice at my desk and am taking my time to get into the mood to work. And I am enjoying this. Honestly though, am feeling a bit sleepy. But the atmosphere now is too good to be missed without doing any work.

Grazing through some headlines, I just came across this:
Australia to cull outback camels
What if in India or China, animals decide to cull outback humans because humans are devouring all of their resources? Hmm. Racial superiority...and arrogance.

Ah...here is interesting news.

Was reading excerpts of the interview.

Oprah: We did a show recently where we were looking at women around the world, and we were talking to French women at a cafe. … They said (Americans) are all fat.

Ash: I'm from India, I wouldn't say that because Indian people eat well, we're well endowed.

Me: What was that??????

And this one:

Oprah: Do they say we get a lot of divorces?

Ash: Ah, that could be a discussion.

Oprah: You know what, you could be a diplomat!

Me: Oprah, you are becoming old. And Ash, please :(

And hey fellas, Superman is back!! What struck me hard and pleasantly too, is the costume he is wearing. Simple and classic.

Now guys, I've read enough and goofed around enough. Time to get back to work.
